A mug made for the first quiet hour of the day. Thrown by hand, so each one carries the small irregularities of the potter's wheel — a slightly uneven rim, a thumb-rest where the handle meets the body, a glaze that pools a shade darker where it gathers.

Generous enough for a slow coffee or a long tea, with a rounded handle that sits easily in the hand. The stoneware holds heat well and feels substantial without being heavy.

Handmade in small batches. Microwave and dishwasher safe, though washing by hand keeps the glaze at its best. Because each mug is made by hand, size and glaze vary slightly from piece to piece.
